Parrot in Peril

Wildlife Rescue

On Monday 15 August 2011, a parrot managed to get caught in a piece of string that ran between one of the DeVillier balconies and a gum tree in the parklands.
RSPCA Wildlife Service were notified and members of the local Fire Brigade were called out to assist free the parrot.
For future reference, if you find birds or wildlife that are injured or trapped, please call RSPCA Wildlife in the first instance. They can be contacted on (02) 6287 8113 or after hours on 0413 495 031.

Parking

In an attempt to free-up visitors carparks in Eldridge Cres, at least one of the Owners Corporations has introduced rules to make parking in garages compulsory and to limit the number of cars in a unit to the number of garage spaces available.

We (the De Villier EC) do not believe such stringent measures are needed in Hopegood Place. Nevertheless, it is clear that visitors spaces are being occupied by residents with empty garages, as well as trespassers from other complexes.

Please use your garages. Visitors carparks are common property and set aside for visitors and short-term use by residents.

TAMS has installed 'No Parking' signs around the roundabout. A number of people already have been booked.
